First week of school has just gone by like that. But I had amazing fun meeting up with everyone again, like the SOS, Mentoring and Uni-Y peeps (: It feels nice to see everyone in school, rushing for classes and all.. but I dread the presentations and projects =x

I went back to TCC to work yesterday night. Got my pay! More than what I expected. But that’s not the main point. I found out that my favourite supervisor Bernard will be leaving next month!!! Very, very saddening. Everyone is leaving… But I think I’m going to quit soon too, although working is fun it’s going to affect my studies. Moreover I have CCA commitments now. So, I shall leave around the same time as my fave supervisor. =x Anyway my contract ends by then…

Anyway it’s dearest WENDY’s 20TH birthday today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEARIE!!! Thanks for being such a GREAT pal, I really cannot imagine life without ya (:

Korea love!

Although I just reached Singapore yesterday night…

I miss Korea already

I miss

the strawberry milk

dukbolgi (spicy rice cake) suppers

playing cards in each other’s rooms ’till 5am and then having to get up at 8am the next morning

the crazy no. of times we snooze our alarms before finally waking up 1 hour later than the alarm time

the laughters and jokes (esp over our photos and very standard and trademark poses LOL)

singing songs with XT (one coin clink clink, two coins clink clink and my favourite muneeru valiba. I still can’t believe I remember the whole lyrics to this tamil song lol)

pretending to be superman at 63 Tower

the mad night shopping until we know each other’s taste in fashion

saying pissayo pissayo (expensive, expensive) to every store owner

illegally squeezing 5 of us into taxis and struggling to explain the directions to the driver

trying to talk Korean but cannot make it because they will reply in Korean and we’ll still be clueless

and the WEATHER!!! Although it’s a little too cold for my liking, it beats S’pore’s hot and wet weather anytime heh.

Sigh. But I had a really, really WONDERFUL time.. thanks to my dearest roomie XT, Evie, Jenny and Shannon. (: They are really the BEST bunch! Without them this trip would be a completely different one. Ah, words cannot do this trip justice at all..

Liberated?

Exams have ended. But everyday has been packed with Korea BSM lessons and mentoring. Is good to be busy, but I need a WHOLE DAY break to myself. I’m just like that, heh. Which today can do so, but later in the evening I have tuition because my kid has exams next Monday and I WANT HIM TO DO WELL and not lose marks due to carelessness again…

Anyway aww. Mentoring sessions have ended on Tuesday. So we had a mini celebration with J&Co donuts!

The mentoring peeps! (: Its amazing how much they have changed since the first session.. for the better of course heh. I’ll miss them lots… they even wrote us thank you cards which were really sweet. In fact, I will miss being called “sergeant” or even “sergeant dollah’s wife” by them, ha!

Then in the evening was “gourmet on wheels” to Serene Centre with the usual gang Huiqi, Timothy, Don + new peeps Jamie and Euodia! Had French food which was good and gelato.. yum. But quite a pity we didn’t take pictures.. Can’t wait for our next gourmet trip! Heh we pwn S/MU’s gourmet club lurh.

The S/MU exam hell week is here, but ok maybe not as intimidating as the photo above heh. Just finished 2 very tiring and pretty tough papers yesterday. Econs and Analytical Skills. I didn’t know that Econs would have FIVE short essay questions worth 10 marks each. Thought it’d only be one essay question. -.- But anyhow, BOTH ARE OVERRRRRR burn burn burn the notes.

Ok 2 down, 3 to go! Stats tomorrow, Business Law on Thursday, and BGS on Saturday. I seriously don’t know why S/MU loves putting papers on Saturdays. I thought its supposed to be 5-day week long time ago? Even secondary schools and JCs understand that policy. Seriously can’t wait for Saturday. So I can finally do something to my HAIR. I want to highlight it red again. (: And I don’t know if I should cut it short, like shoulder length.

But after Saturday, I’m FREEEEE. But so sad the NUS and NTU peeps haven’t finished their exams yet so can’t really go out and have fun with them. =/ And when Lyd finishes her papers, I’ll be flying to Korea already. Oh well. Alright off to mug stats. PIA PIA PIA

Super duper excited for Korea BSM! Had the information session today and we got the itinerary and everything which looks really good. And I love my group members, they’re all so nice and friendly (: Can’t wait for it… I seriously need an escapade from Singapore.

Oh well, lessons have all ended in SM/U and next week’s study break for the exams to come the following week. Except BGS. There is still BGS lesson for presentations on Monday, sigh. At least I have finished the most tiresome part of our group report already – the data part. Took me almost the whole of yesterday to finish it.

And not much motivation to study for the exams either. Still all tired out from everything. And there’s still tuition tomorrow with the angel and the devil. -.- Hope the little rascal doesn’t drive me nuts tomorrow. I still need my sanity to study Biz Law.

Just drew up my study timetable which I doubt I’ll follow in the end.

Anyway did something crazy today. Missed my bus because of it. =/ But in the end, nothing. -.-

Ok, time to start looking for a job starting 19May… But, exams first.

The bulk of my presentations and mid-terms are finally over. Such a relief. At least so far all my presentations have been pretty good. AS yesterday was funny, Biz law last week was a tough one but we managed to answer the questions the class bombed us and Prof even helped us. Got back Stats midterms, which I scored 80%. Biz law midterms, 11.5/15 – in which the highest he gave was 12. So results are not too bad so far. Econs midterms.. I have no idea when we are getting back and I’m not expecting much from this exam. But Prof Habibullah’s really nice. Gave me 19/20 for my presentation/indiv. assignment.

All I’m left with is BGS presentation and report which are so gonna kill us, I really think BGS is going to pull down my GPA; and the Final Termssss. I have 5 final exams this term. -.- Time is really flying, there’s only 5 weeks of school left! I should start planning for the holidays because I don’t want to waste my holidays. Lol.

Mission trip to Cambodia (hopefully), get a good job, driving lessons, Project SOS Documentation subcomm, Uni-Y subcomm activities, perhaps Asoc camp faci or Korea/Russia BSM (?)… oh dear doesn’t look like a lot of stuff to do for 4 months. But I definitely want to get my diving ( and driving!) licenses, and I want to go on a trip with friendsssss!! Taiwan, Korea or Bangkok anyone? And during this summer break I’m going to read finish all my novels and watch all the videos that I’m so deprived of during school term. And go back to organ lessons. Actually that’s a must. I’m so tempted to take up electric guitar though. Oh, and perhaps I should do a summer module … like Management Sci.

Ok weather really sucks. I want to swim yet it’s constantly pouring. I need exercise…

Happee Birdday Mom!

Celebrated mom’s birthday by visiting Changi Airport Terminal Threeeee. Such a nice, lovely place! Lots of SPACE… and since next week’s school holidays for the kids there were kids running around EVERYWHERE. We ate at TCC at the Treetop. Delissssshhhhious. The chocolarva dessert is wow. Portobello mushrooms are yummy. Anyway for her birdday I bought her……

Muahahahhaa filial not. Not cheap eh. I think.. I have to give at least 1 month of tuition before I can earn back to amount I paid for the tix.

Talking about tuition. I tutored Shawn as well as his P5 bro Bryan today 3pm. His bro is like DAMN NAUGHTY. Worlds apart from his brother, gosh. How can blood brothers be so different. He’s like super restless, keep cracking lame jokes, changing subject when I ask him Maths questions… almost drove me mad. Overshot the time for Shawn because I forgot I had to end at 530pm. But Aunt Sharon was really nice. Earned $70 today! But what really matters is that both of them really improve lurh. I don’t want to get paid for nothing.

Stats exam was ok I felt. A number of questions came from his homework and assignments. After that had a short Biz law meeting then was planning to stay back in school to mug alone till Muis finish her MA meeting so we can go eat frog leg porridge tgt. But immediately after my grpmate went out of the group study room and I thought I was going to mug alone peacefully, the door slammed open and Matt and his friend grandly walked in -.- Got the shock of my life. So bo pian. Have to mug with them till Muis ended her meeting… at 9PM! Almost died. But at least had a sumptuous frog leg porridge dinner supper yums.

The weekend is over… damn.

Back to school…

But the one week break didn’t feel like a break at all.

Anyway, it’s already week 9! Deadlines, assignments and presentations piling in.. the renowned S/MU hell weeks are here.

Business law presentation on Tuesday was pretty good I felt. Although the class bombed us left right centre with questions after questions, we managed to answer them and the prof even defended us. Hopefully a good sign? I just spent the last 3 hours doing up my part of the Group Report. Managed to crap up 4 and 1/5 pages! Not bad ay?

And yes, I can’t believe I woke up at 6am today just to finish up my AS essay which was due today. Surprisingly I finished in like 3 hours! Managed to crap up 5 full pages. Woah today I wrote 9 and 1/5 of crap. Magnificent!

Haven’t started mugging for Stats exam this Sat. SO dead. Had to postpone my tuition to Sunday because of this exam. Why does S/MU have exams on Sat?! It sucks..

My student is such a sweet boy lurh, asked me how come I cannot make it this Sat.. how’s my preparation for the exam and even wished me all the best. Only one lesson only he’s already so concerned for me…. feel like giving him a big big hug LOL. Ok ya I don’t want him to be traumatized so ya I will practise self-control..

Weather sucks these days. Keep raining non-stop. I hate it when it rains when I want to go home. Because it’d mean that I’m stuck in school. And usually stuck in the library because now the trend is that all the GSRs will be fully booked. =/ And the atmosphere in the library is always so….. mugger-ish.

University life is so tiring!
