Work is getting more fun and interesting. I think it’s really because of the people I’m working with nowadays. Bernard, Ferdie, Amy, Nas, Keat.. and my colleague Fendy came back as a chef!!! It’s so funny seeing him in the chef’s uniform hahahaha not used to it yet. Talked a while with the chef Ah Keat after work today while waiting for my dad, and he’s suuuuper duper funny lurh. They are all so lovely nice people really. (:

Maybe it’s because a certain someone isn’t working =x

But anyway, loving my job.. hope it stays this way! It’s been a pretty interesting holiday so far.. loving it. Going Aussie soon! Very scared yet quite excited..

And I’m going to be EXTREMELY busy until Saturday because of Project Summer on Sand. Will be at east coast park whole day on Thursday and Friday, and then the actual event happens on Sat. (: Anyone free on Sat morning you’re welcome to our Summer on Sand event at the Castle Beach, East Coast Park from 1030am to 3pm. There’ll be sandcastle building, music bands and food! Lots of funnnnn I can’t wait.

People come and go

Sigh, although it was a good day at work, I was very sad. Why? ‘Cos today was one of my fave people in TCC’s last day. It was SO SAD!! When he shook my hand to say goodbye I was almost on the verge of tears. And when I left TCC he was like “wah.. wait for me before you go la”. But cannot wait until 11pm la heh..

I’ll definitely miss him because he is such a humble and nice guy. I’ll miss his “good morning”s to me even if its like 10pm at night, his random winks.. just him as the very nice guy in TCC. He’s going back to M’sia, and then coming back to work as a chef!!! Hopefully he will come back to our branch, but I really wonder if I’ll still be there by then… =/

Small small world

Today in TCC I was serving these two men in blazers, and I found out they were the bosses of Candy Empire! Talked to them quite alot, cos they asked ALOT of questions like my salary, where am I schooling and even where I stay?! It was quite interesting.. and one of them even asked me to come over and work for him at candy empire instead ‘cos the salary is abit higher.

And then after work when I was going about my MOM job, I received an SMS from Seekit asking me whether I talked to two businessmen in TCC.. and I immediately thought about those customers. Called her back, and she told me that her boss at Millenia TCC was talking about this “very short and cute” girl he met at Airport TCC, and then she asked whether it’s Serene and he got all excited because yes that “very short and cute” girl is me. -.- Then Seekit told me that he said I could come work for him at Candy Empire anytime lol.

It’s the rat year! Mickey mouse is like, EVERYWHERE. On the doors, walls.. and on my mirror.

I think this is going to be a very random entry.

Watched Sweeney Todd for the 2nd time. With my FAMILY. LOL imagine my mom and dad watching throats getting slashed and humans being made into meat pies. My dad was indifferent though, heh. Maybe the blood looked too fake.

Anyway we went on a movie marathon yesterday. Watched Away from Her, and then Sweeney Todd right after that. Away from Her was touching, but not really something I can relate to because it’s about Alzheimer’s. And maybe because I’ve seen such a storyline before. Sweeney Todd still fascinated me.

It fascinated me the first time, and it still did the second. (must get soundtrack.)

Watched the first time with dearest Wendy. (: Had lots of fun chatting nonsense while doing “work” with her, eating CARLSY yums, shopping although we didn’t get anything and then frantically running for the last train after the movie. Yay we are meeting up again Sat AND Sun haha.

Oh ya, if anyone is interested, I passed Basic Theory Test yay. Then went with Sarah to eat Bedok’s famous carrot cake after that. It was yummy, but I guess it was also partly because we were starving because FTT took soooooo long to book.

It was fun visiting yesterday, but it was pretty quiet on my dad’s side because my aunt’s paralyzed, so we couldn’t visit her because she doesn’t want visitors. She used to be so jolly and happy, always the one in the limelight. How circumstances can change people so much.

Urgh so much WORK to do during the holidays! I dun wanna think about it I dun wanna think about it I dun wanna think about it ARGH but I have to print my Stats and AS assignments catch up on biz law read BGS readings (which are always ALOT) and then do my BGS hypotheses proposal yuck.):
