Farewell, dear 2008

Can’t believe another year has passed.

Another year of ups and downs.

Though there were downs, particularly towards the end of the year, 2008 was still a very good year, perhaps even better than the past years. Experienced alot of things I never expected to experience like,

Being trapped in a broken down caravan in the middle of Darwin outback

Kayaking in the tranquility of an Australian gorge

Lying down in the middle of night outside our caravan and looking at the amazing star-studded skies

Building sandcastles for a community service

Doing countless S\MU jumps in Korea (I want to go back to those fun times …)

Becoming pres for a club

Working in the crazy food and beverage industry

Summer of 2008 was simply, unforgettable. Made so many good friends, strengtened relationships with old ones, did so many crazy stuff.. Those memories and people will never be forgotten. I just hope that 2009 will be an even better one (who doesn’t?) and though I don’t really think much of resolutions ‘cos I never seem to fulfil them anyway, I want to make just one resolution this year for 2009:

To grow closer to God and serve Him.
