Finally, break!

FINALLY my two mid-terms are OVER. Feels like a huge boulder has been lifted off my back. Econs was tricky and tedious, while Bizlaw was quite interesting but I don’t dare to expect any results because I find that when I expect, I always get otherwise. So it’s best to just do my best and leave the rest to God. (: There’s still Stats mid-term after the break, so I better buck up heh.

Other than exams, quite a few stuff happened during the past week. Pretty emotional-draining actually. It may seem like there’s nothing on the surface, but there’s definitely something brewing beneath. Oh well.

Discovered something really unexpected. Was quite affected by it, but luckily it didn’t affect my Bizlaw exam. Yup. I guess I’m one who’s easily affected by my friend’s problems.

Today finally got to hang out with Siti and Hoying! Had lots of fun walking around Arab Street looking for Siti’s skirt, hanging out at Far East and lots of catching up. Siti has really slimmed down ALOT. Gosh, but I’m really happy for her haha. AND I finally satisfied for craving for Ajisen Crayfish Ramen. Yum.

Anyway, I find sunday bible studies very enriching and enjoyable. (: So far I’ve learnt really alot on Genesis, even more than I’ve expected. But well expectations are very subjective things.

Tuesdays somehow brightens up the rest of the dreary mugging week.

Because of…. mentoring!

Although at first we’d dread and dread mentoring because we’re all so shag and tired and all after that morning’s lesson, but really as Hoying says, once we get into the mentoring workshop, it’s really really enjoyable. (:

The kids are all so lovable and so obedient. Not “at-risk” AT ALL. I really don’t know why they are in this program.. they are all so motivated to learn and study! I feel as if I’m learning from them, as much or even more than they learn from us. Really love each and everyone of them. (: I think I’ll really miss them when the whole workshop is over.

They have really grown so much since the first meeting, especially Yeh Cheng. The first day she didn’t even want to say her name, but now she wants to contribute so actively to the discussions. But I feel that Mark is still shy and not contributing as much as he can – I know he is a smart guy as I have spoken to him personally before. Oh wells just gotta take note of him and Chun Lin.. They are actually very smart and they have lots of ideas to contribute.. just that they are too shy.

Anyway. Sigh! 2 mid-terms this week. Econs on Thursday (which I heard its a killer), and Business Law on Saturday which I haven’t started studying at all. =S All the best to me and everyone mugging for their midterms/quizzes/tests! (:

Fun fun fun!

Officially a mahjong addict.

Went to Weilin’s house to visit and had a CNY party with mahjong, catered food and all. Played many many rounds of mahjong. Hu-ed quite alot of times. (Lydia thinks too much, LOL) FUN! And finally all the hot beans meet again! Love you guys to bits! Wendy and Lydia please meet up soon to go Sentosaaaaa.

Then after that went to Timothy’s place for BBQ. Good food, played with his cutest hyperactive dog and met and made friends! So surprised to see Jieyi from Ycamp and Jeffery there. But had lots of fun (: So nice of Don to send us all home and me all the way home in Simei -.-

Another Level – From the Heart

Emotions have taken on a whole new level.

I don’t know what is going on anymore.

I try to make sense of everything around me, but I can’t. All these signs and question marks are driving me nuts. I don’t remember doing anything remotely special or fascinating. Everything was simply platonic from the start.
